Given the fact that we have some 12,000 or so restaurants in Hong Kong, it would be a sin not to showcase some of the delights I’ve sampled over the years – and am still enjoying.
On this page,ย I shall post photos of my wining and dining adventures, placing the latest at the top:
Had a yummy dinner at The Spice House in Stone Nullah Lane on Wan Chai market (possibly my favourite restaurant) tonight. This time (for the first time) I had the fish baked in salt crust and it came with a hot & sour dip that tasted of fresh lime and spicy chillies and was absolutely delightful. The fish was perfectly moist and just fell off the bone. I ordered a side of spicy green mango salad and of course, an ice cold Chang beer. It was the perfect dinner!
Amazing dinner with wine pairing at Armani Aqua on occasion of “Restaurant Week”:
…followed by a night cap at Armani Prive night club and rooftop bar – sophisticated gin & tonic:
Dinner at The Spice House (fried fish with spicy mango salad …simply to die for):
Say what you will about eating balls… These were delicious! ๐๐๐
(This was as “High Street Cart Noodles” restaurant in Sai Ying Pun: Had their spiciest Szechuan style soup with shaved noodles, fried fish skins, curdled pig’s blood, roasted fatty pork belly, wheat gluten, and marinated chicken testicles. – Verdict: I’d order it again anytime, it was so yummy!)
